Great for starting conversations when you're not sure what to say. Even better for learning about the latest iOS 3rd party keyboard API.

The joke that keeps on joking

Sometimes you just gotta do something for fun. 1 Liner was just that -- a joke project that lets users keep on joking. 

Of course, there's always something unexpected you learn along the way. Through this short project, my partner and I developed an understanding of the API, as well as the process of getting an App Store approval. 

Less is more

It might seem simple, almost too simple. Yet each detail, including the animation and the haptic feedback for the button and the translucency of the keyboard were carefully crafted. 

Users found it easy to install (given how hard iOS made it) and intuitive to use. Addictive, some even say. 

2000+ Downloads!

To our surprise, without any marketing or maintenance, the app spread virally for a little while, getting ~2700 downloads in the first few months.  

We even had friends asking us to update the keyboard and add new features. I'm sure the app would've stuck with more users if we kept working on it.
